CreditGUARD of America, Inc. is very proud to be active in the community. Our credit counseling agency has partnered with these other professional organizations by providing quality credit counseling seminars and community services:

Adopt-A-Family
CreditGUARD of America sponsors families for Thanksgiving and Christmas to ensure the family has holiday dinners, presents and basic necessities. Adopt-A-Family helps families in crisis, restoring stability and self-sufficiency.

American Association of Christian Counselors
CreditGUARD of America has developed online financial tools to help Christian counselors educate individuals about personal finances. American Association of Christian Counselors equips professionals, ministers and caregivers with necessary tools to provide Christian counseling to the community, nationwide.

Community Development Corporations (CDC)
CreditGUARD of America has donated financial literacy tools, including The CreditGUARD Coach™, to Community Development Corporations so their counselors can assist low to medium income families with resolving credit issues to help them qualify for new homes. Community Development Corporation offices around the country, provides local residents with counseling and assistance with affordable housing.

Additionally, CreditGUARD of America has established a CDC Grant Program, which provides CDC offices with financial grants for credit counseling and financial literacy as well as allocating financial awards to qualified consumers who need help to reach the goal of home ownership. Children’s Home Society of Florida
CreditGUARD of America is a supporter of Children’s Home Society of Florida. The Children’s Home Society provides adoption, foster care, family counseling, emergency shelters, and pregnancy services to support healthy families for Florida’s children.

Christmas Ornament Drive
Every Christmas, CreditGUARD of America encourages its employees to donate an ornament for the company Christmas tree. For each ornament collected, our credit counseling agency donates $5 to a local charity like the Cancer Society or Diabetes Foundation.

CreditGUARD Softball Team
CreditGUARD of America’s employees participate in the Ft. Lauderdale Parks & Recreation’s Adult Co-Ed Softball League. Our Division 1 Softball Team, CreditGUARD, has won 15 trophies and 6 Division Championships.

Gilda’s Club – South Florida
CreditGUARD of America is a supporter of Gilda’s Club South Florida chapter. Gilda’s Club, a non-profit organization, provides emotional and social support to cancer-stricken men, women and children.

Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy
CreditGUARD of America is a partner with Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy. Jump$tart Coalition is working to promote financial literacy in grades K-12 to equip youths with basic personal financial management skills.

Public Libraries – South Florida
CreditGUARD of America has donated VHS tapes to Public Libraries in South Florida educating consumers about personal budgeting and money management.
